Naxal Encounter, Jharkhand: The weapon used by the Naxalites against the security forces in Lanji Jungle, located in the Toklo police station area of ​​West Singhbhum, has been described as a directional bomb.

Its specialty is that it can not only be planted in the ground but can also be planted on trees and mountains. Naxalites have prepared this deadly bomb against the security forces.

Police are hopeful that the Naxalites have come up with a large number of such weapons, which they can use to harm the security forces.

The firepower of this directional bomb is being reported from 350 to 400 meters.

For the first time in the state, Naxalites used this bomb and in the first attempt took the martyrdom of three promising soldiers of the state and injured many.

It has a pipenoid structure similar to the launcher, with one side closed. First, the pipe is filled with high explosives. It contains hundreds of small pieces of rod.

The explosive has a hole equal to two-wire, where the wire is attached. By putting this home launcher on a tree, mountain, the criminal-Naxalite goes somewhere far away.

As the security forces approach the tree or the mountain, it sparks off the criminal-Naxalite wire with the help of batteries and the explosives explode as soon as they fire.

All the pieces of rods lying in it move rapidly in the empty direction and crosses, piercing what is found in their path.

Naxal terror: Guidelines issued for soldiers and officers engaged in anti-Naxal operations.

Jharkhand Police Headquarters has issued guidelines for the SSP-SP and soldiers of all the districts engaged in anti-Naxal operations after the Chaibasa incident.

Naveen Kumar Singh, ADG expedition of the Jharkhand Police, said that such a bomb was recovered before use, which was defused. This is the first time in the state that a directional bomb has hit the security forces.

Now the guidelines have been issued to all the districts regarding how the rescue and effective operations against such bombs went.

The ADG said that the Naxalites involved in the Chaibasa incident have been identified. Attempts are underway for arrest.
