Nepali Youth Killed In Firing Of APF Soldiers On Indo-Nepal Border

Nepali youth killed in firing of APF soldiers on Indo-Nepal border, the tension on the border,

Armed Police Force (APF) personnel shot dead a Nepalese youth carrying medicines for his father from Bahuar Bazar, India, near Line-1 post of No-Man’s Land of Indo-Nepal border.

Avinash Rajbhar, a resident of Kathwa in Nepal’s Nawalparasi district, was seriously injured. Locals were taking the injured young man to the hospital for treatment that he died on the way.

There was chaos at the border due to firing. In view of the tension at the border, the SSB and the lower police have been alerted.

Nepali youth killed: The young man came to take medicine.

On Wednesday morning, Avinash Rajbhar came for taking medicine of his father at a private hospital located in Bahuar, India, via the border path of the border.

He was on his way back home with the medicine that three Nepal APF jawans on No-Man’s land gave him warning to stop.

The jawans said that traffic is restricted due to border sealing. Ignoring the words of the soldiers, Avinash  started  to going to his home. After which the Nepalese jawans fired the first three rounds and warned him.

When Avinash did not stop, the angry soldiers shot him in the leg. As soon as the bullet started, Avinash started to fall to the ground and started suffering.

A large number of local citizens including Kathishwa residents Hadish Ali, Santosh Yadav, and Bahadur Rai reached the spot as soon as they heard the bullet.

Officers arrived on the spot.

The injured young man was being taken to a hospital in Navalparasi for treatment but he died. After the death of the young man, the three Nepalese soldiers deployed on the border fled from the spot as the local Nepalese citizens were angry.

As soon as the news of firing on the no-man’s land was received, the officers of the COB including CO Natalail DK Upadhyay, SHO Nirbhay Kumar Singh reached the spot.

Superintendent of Police Pradeep Gupta said that Nepali youth had been reported dead from bullet injuries. There is no state of tension on the border. Negotiations are being held with the Nepalese authorities in this regard.
