Cupertino-based tech giant Apple has launched the new iPad Air with an M1 chip with an 8-core CPU and an 8-core GPU. An iPad is very special.

In this, you get to see the chip of the iPad Pro model launched last year. It will be available for online orders from Friday, March 11. At the same time, from March 18, you can also buy it from the store.

What is the price of the new iPad Air?

The Wi-Fi model of the new iPad Air is available at a starting price of Rs 54,900.

At the same time, the Wi-Fi + Cellular models start at Rs 68900. The new iPad Airs come with 64GB and 256GB configurations.

Be it a content creator or a gamer user playing graphics-intensive titles, everyone will love the portable design and amazing performance of the iPad Air.

How is its display?

Talking about its display, it has a 10.9-inch LED-backlit Liquid Retina display with 2360×1640 pixels resolution.

The display comes with a peak brightness of up to 500 nits and has True Tone white balance support along with P3 wide color gamut.

In this, you get the M1 chipset, which also powers some of Apple’s powerful laptops and the top-end iPad Pro.

The M1 chipset is expected to feature an 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine to unlock advanced machine learning (ML).

The new iPad Air also comes with Touch ID support. Also, you get to see power and standby modes in it.

The device comes with a 12MP wide rear camera with an f/1.8 lens, the same as the previous model.

The camera supports many features including autofocus with focus pixels, panorama (up to 63-megapixel).

In this, you get 4K video recording support at 24, 25, 30, and 60fps frame rates apart from Smart HDR 3, photo geotagging, auto image stabilization, and burst mode.

The new iPad Air also comes with a 12MP ultra-wide front camera. Connectivity options on the Apple iPad Air with the M1 (2022) include Wi-Fi. 6, Bluetooth 5, USB-C port charging, 5G, and GPS.
