NIA announces Rs 10 lakh bounty on fugitive terrorist Hardeep Singh Najjar.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced a cash reward of Rs 10 lakh on the Canada-based head of the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF), accused of killing a priest in Punjab’s Jalandhar last year.

A reward was announced on Friday for wanted terrorist Hardeep Singh Najjar, a resident of Bhar Singh Pura village in the Phillaur area of ​​Jalandhar.

Three weeks earlier, the NIA had filed a charge sheet against Najjar and three others in connection with the attack on the priest.

The federal agency issued a statement saying that the NIA is looking for Najjar in connection with a conspiracy by the KTF to kill a priest in Jalandhar.

Najjar is currently living in Canada and is the head of the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF). The NIA said Najjar was also promoting the separatist and violent agenda of ‘Sikhs for Justice’ in India.

NIA has announced a cash reward of Rs 10 lakh against Najjar, the agency said. Any information related to the absconding of the accused can be shared for his arrest.

The identity of the informant will be kept confidential.

The NIA has shared the telephone, WhatsApp, and Telegram numbers of its Delhi headquarters and Chandigarh branch office, along with email addresses.

So that people can provide information about Najjar.

The NIA had filed a charge sheet against four people including Najjar on July 5 in connection with the conspiracy to kill Hindu priest Kamaldeep Sharma by the KTF in Phillaur on January 31 last year.

NIA announces Rs 10 lakh bounty: The NIA took over the investigation into the matter on October 8, 2021.

Three other people named in the charge sheet include Kamaljit Sharma and Ram Singh alias ‘Sona’, who attacked the priest on the instructions of Najjar and his associate Arshdeep Singh alias ‘Prabh’.

According to the NIA, the investigation revealed that the entire conspiracy was hatched by Canada-based accused Arshdeep and Najjar with the intention of disturbing the peace and communal harmony in Punjab by killing the priest.
