NIA Conducted Raids At Nine Places In Srinagar And Delhi

The National Investigation Agency is conducting raids at nine places in Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) and Delhi. NIA raided several locations in Kashmir simultaneously.

The raids have been conducted in connection with the terror funding from across the border. NIA team raided Mohammad Zafar Akbar Bhatt’s house this morning.

Zafar Butt is the chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement.

Zafar Butt was one of the commanders of Hizbul Mujahideen who participated in talks with the central government during the year 2000 before becoming active in separatist politics.

The raids were carried out at the offices of the local newspaper Greater Kashmir Trust, Khurram Parvez in Sonwar.
