NIA court sentenced Subhani Moideen to life imprisonment, was a supporter of ISIS: Kochi. A special NIA court in Kochi on Monday sentenced Subhani Haza Moideen to life imprisonment for supporting the activities of the terrorist organization Islamic State (ISIS).

He was arrested a long time ago by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Along with life imprisonment, a special NIA court has also imposed a fine of Rs 2.1 lakh on Moideen.

The special court had earlier noted that section 125 (criminal conspiracy) of Indian Penal Code section 120 (b), section 125 (waging war against the Government of India), and section 20, section 38 (terrorist gangs) of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. Of being a member of).

He has also been convicted under sections 38 (offenses relating to membership of a terrorist organization) and 39 (offenses relating to support given to a terrorist organization). Let me tell you that Subhani Haza Moideen, who comes from the Idukki district of Kerala, allegedly joined the terrorist organization in the year 2015 and was trained in Iraq and Syria.

He was involved in waging war against the government of Iraq.

According to the NIA, Moideen was arrested in 2016 for allegedly supporting activities of the ISIS group. The agency also suspected that it might have detailed information about the 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris that killed 130 people and injured hundreds.

Let us tell you that an NIA court in Kochi has convicted a terrorist who had gone to Iraq and taken training to spread terror from ISIS, on charges of plotting a war against the Indian government.

The NIA arrested Moideen in 2016 in Tamil Nadu with the help of state police from the central security agencies. Moideen was plotting to target some prominent individuals and places of public importance, which had been thwarted by the agencies.

It is worth mentioning that an ISIS terrorist has been convicted by the court at a time when the government rejected the UN report in Parliament a few days ago in which the ISIS terrorists in Kerala and Karnataka were well The number was said to be present.

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kishan Reddy said in a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha that the report claiming the presence of a significant number of ISIS militants in Kerala and Karnataka is not factually correct.
