Rapid action against terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, the NIA raided many places, including Pulwama and Kulgam. A day before PM Modi’s arrival in Jammu and Kashmir, the National Investigation Agency has raided several areas of Srinagar. According to the information received, NIA raided several places in Jammu and Kashmir in a terrorist conspiracy case.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday raided several places in several districts of Jammu and Kashmir as part of the investigation into a terrorist conspiracy case. Officials said that raids were conducted in Pulwama, Kulgam, Shopian, Baramulla, and Kupwara districts.
It is worth noting that in the Union Territory, the investigating agencies NIA and SIA have continued the campaign to destroy the network of terrorists and their overground workers and sleeper cells. Earlier, the SIA had started a search operation at 18 places in four districts of the Jammu division.
The investigating agency did not formally arrest or detain anyone for questioning during this period. But five laptops, about one and a half dozen mobile phones, some other digital devices, and some documents related to financial transactions were seized.
The concerned officials said that the people whose houses were searched included a teacher, a student, and some businessmen. All of them were in contact with terrorist handlers sitting in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan through phone and other means.
It is known that Prime Minister Modi will come to Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow. Here, he will hand over development projects worth Rs 46 thousand crore to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
To welcome PM Modi, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said on Wednesday that the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla rail link will start a new era for Jammu and Kashmir and will create an ideal environment for trade and business.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Thursday inaugurate the world’s highest railway bridge, the Chenab Bridge, and also launch the Vande Bharat train service connecting Kashmir with Kanyakumari. The Chenab rail bridge is a crucial part of the 272-km-long Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Railway Link (USBRL), which will provide direct train connectivity to the valley.
