NIA raids on LTTE supporters in Tamil Nadu, many incriminating documents recovered. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids at two places in Tamil Nadu.
The probe agency has taken this step in connection with the plan of two self-proclaimed radical supporters of the LTTE to attack business establishments and important leaders in the state.
Documents including many incriminating articles were recovered during the NIA raid.

An NIA spokesperson said raids were conducted in Salem and Sivaganga districts on Saturday.
Several incriminating documents including hard disk-like digital equipment belonging to the Sri Lanka-based banned terror group LTTE were recovered during this period.
The recovered things also included books on LTTE, and photographs of leaders of the banned outfit, including slain LTTE chief Prabhakaran.
The bills for materials used in making illegal weapons, bullets, explosives, seeds for making poison, and life-saving kits have also been confiscated in the forest the official said.
The arrested persons were involved in illegal arms deals through the Internet.
The spokesperson said that initially on May 19, a case was registered against two persons at Omalur police station in Tamil Nadu. After this, on July 25, the NIA registered the case again.
Both names were involved in making illegal arms, ammunition, and explosives with the help of the internet.
