NIA raids places of Bangladeshi human smugglers in Bengaluru, incriminating documents recovered.
National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials raided locations linked to Bangladeshi human traffickers in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The NIA on Saturday raided two locations of a suspect who was involved in making fake identity cards for Bangladeshi human smugglers, the central probe agency said on Sunday.
According to the NIA statement, “several incriminating documents, including hard disks and six digital devices and mobile phones were recovered in the raids.”
These devices, which were used for making fake documents, have been confiscated.
The case pertains to a woman who was wrongly brought to India by a group of human traffickers on the pretext of a job and forced to commit wrongdoings.
In May, she was vandalized and gang-raped by human traffickers for not obeying. One of the accused made a video of the incident, which went viral on the internet media.
Based on the information received from Bangladesh, the Bangalore Police arrested the accused.
NIA raids in Jammu and Kashmir over terror funding case.
On the other hand, the National Investigation Agency raided many places in Jammu and Kashmir in the Terror Funding case.
NIA team raided in Anantnag district on Sunday morning. According to the information, NIA raids were conducted in 45 places of the state.
It includes Srinagar, Ganderbal, Achabal, Shopian, Bandipora, Ramban, Doda, Kishtwar, Rajouri, and other districts. This raid of NIA is in connection with some new cases including terror funding.
More than five thousand active cases decreased after several days, cases are not decreasing in Kerala.
There has been a decline in active cases of corona infection after several days of increase. In the last 24 hours, more than five thousand active cases have come down.
During this 39 thousand new cases have been found. This is the second consecutive day when less than 40 thousand new cases have been found.
The number of daily deaths has also come down below five hundred. However, the situation in Kerala does not seem to be improving. More than half of the new cases are from Kerala.

According to the data updated by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Sunday, active cases have come down to four lakh six thousand, which is 1.27 percent of the total infected.
There has been a decrease of 5,331 active cases in a day. The recovery rate has improved with more patients recovering from new cases.
There has been no change in the death rate and daily and weekly infection rates also remain below three percent.
More than 20 thousand cases have been found in Kerala. The highest number of 139 deaths have also occurred there.
