NIA Took The Terrorist Assistant To Identify The Route Of Infiltration

NIA took the terrorist assistant to identify the route of infiltration along the Samba International Border: Infiltration Along LoC.

Two days before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Jammu, the investigation into the conspiracy behind the Sunjwan terror attack is going on in full swing.

National Investigation Agency teams are engaged in the investigation to identify the way for the two terrorists killed in the encounter to cross the border.

It is being ascertained from the helpers of the terrorists how the terrorists had reached Jammu.

On Monday, the NIA team took terrorist assistant Shafiq Ahmed Sheikh to many areas including Samba’s Sapwal.

The NIA team took Shafiq first to Sapwal and then through several villages on the banks of the Basantar river to some other areas along the border.

Shafiq had given shelter to both the terrorists in his house in the Sujwan area. The team is ascertaining where and how the terrorists had reached the truck waiting for them in Sapwal.

A few days after the Sujwan encounter, a tunnel dug by Pakistan was discovered by the Border Security Force at Chak Fakira in Samba.

The Border Security Force had clarified that there was no indication that the tunnel was used for infiltration.

Security forces killed two terrorists in Sunjwan in Jammu on 22 April. They came with the intention of carrying out a suicide attack.

On the second day of the encounter, the police arrested overground workers Shafiq Ahmed Sheikh, Bilal, and Mohammad Ishaq Chopan.

The fourth accomplice Asif is absconding. According to Police ADG Mukesh Singh, both the terrorists had gone to Shafiq’s house.

Bilal and Mohammad Ishaq Chopan helped bring the truck from Sapwal to Sunjwan.

Much important information was revealed during the interrogation: According to sources, the NIA team has got much important information from the overground workers caught.

Efforts are being made to identify such places on their basis, infiltration has been taking place from here.

NIA, Border Security Force, Jammu, Kashmir Police, and other security forces are moving ahead in coordination to negate the plans of the enemies of the country by making the border security stronger.
