Noida International Airport-IGIA To Connect Expressway

Noida International Airport-IGIA to connect Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Haryana will also benefit. Connectivity will be provided to the Noida International Airport from the expressway under construction between Delhi and Mumbai.

The road will be constructed from Ballabgarh to Noida Airport. There is a possibility of talks between the Haryana and Uttar Pradesh’s government soon

. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is constructing a road to connect Indira Gandhi International IGI Airport to Mumbai Expressway. This will also provide direct connectivity between IGI Airport Delhi and Noida Airport.

A 1250 km long expressway is being constructed between Delhi and Mumbai.

NHAI is constructing the road in seven phases to connect this expressway with IGI Airport Delhi. Some part of it is also elevated. The length of the road is about 92 km. Some of this is also part of the Delhi Mumbai Express.

Noida Expressway is also planned to be connected to Delhi Mumbai Expressway. The nearest city to this is Ballabgarh. About 31 km long road will be constructed from here to Noida Airport.

About 24 km of it will be in the state of Haryana, the remaining seven km will be in the border of Uttar Pradesh. A meeting is likely to be held soon for talks on cost, etc., between the two states on road construction.

This option will be the least expensive to connect IGI Airport Delhi and Noida Airport. After the completion of all the eight phases, the distance from IGI Airport Delhi to Noida Airport will be 123 km. It can be reached from one airport to another in about an hour.

Haryana will benefit

The construction of Noida International Airport will also benefit the border areas of Haryana with Uttar Pradesh. Most of the road connecting Delhi Mumbai Expressway to Noida Airport will pass through Haryana. The possibilities of development around it will increase greatly.

There will also be connected with the peripheral expressway

Noida International Airport will also get connectivity with Eastern Peripheral Expressway. The proposed road of Ballabhgarh-Noida Airport in Maujpur will be connected to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway through an interchange.

Delhi Mumbai Expressway will also be connected to Western Peripheral Expressway. With this, Noida Airport will also get connectivity with Western Peripheral Expressway.

Elevated road option is also under consideration

The proposed road is also under consideration for making the movement of passengers between IGI Airport Delhi and Noida Airport easier. This proposal was sent to the Center by the state government.

According to Dr. Arunvir Singh (CEO, Yamuna Authority, and Niall), there is an option to connect Noida Airport via IGI Airport Delhi to Delhi Mumbai Expressway.

NHAI is constructing the road from IGI Airport to Expressway. Building a new road from Ballabhgarh to Noida Airport will provide a new option of movement between the two airports.
