Non-bailable Warrant Issued Against Raj Thackeray

Non-bailable warrant was issued against MNS chief Raj Thackeray, an arrest can happen anytime.

MNS chief Raj Thackeray, who gave an ultimatum to the Aghadi government of the state regarding the removal of loudspeakers from mosques in Maharashtra, can be arrested anytime.

Let us inform you that the Magistrate Court of Shirala had issued a non-bailable warrant against Raj Thackeray on 6 April.

These non-bailable warrants were issued by the Magistrate Court at Shirala in Sangli on April 6 under sections 143, 109, 117, 7 of the IPC and 135 of the Bombay Police Act.

Significantly, the court had ordered the arrest of MNS chief Raj Thackeray under a non-bailable warrant of the Mumbai Police Commissioner.

However, despite this, the Mumbai Police has not yet implemented the arrest. This non-bailable warrant has been issued to Raj Thackeray in connection with an old case.

The court also asked the police why no action was taken against Raj Thackeray even after the warrant was issued on April 6.

According to information received from media reports, MNS workers pelted stones on State Transport Corporation (ST) buses in Parli in 2008.

In 2008, Raj Thackeray was arrested in connection with the recruitment of provincial youth in the Railways.

Against this arrest, MNS workers protested at several places in the state and also targeted the ST bus in Ambajogai.

Raj Thackeray was asked to appear in the court regarding the FIR registered in the same case.

But Raj Thackeray did not appear in the hearing even once. A non-bailable warrant was issued against him despite his absence on consecutive dates despite bail.

Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar said after MNS chief Raj Thackeray’s ultimatum that strict action would be taken against him if he said anything objectionable in his speech.

As far as Hanuman Chalisa is concerned, no one including Muslims have opposed it. However, the law is one for all.

Therefore, loudspeakers will be removed from temples and mosques. During this, she also appealed to everyone to maintain peace.
