Carl Pei is known for establishing OnePlus as a brand. Carl Pei joined Nokia in 2010 and then left Nokia in 2011 to join Hong Kong-based Meizu.

He joined Oppo in November this year. and co-founded OnePlus with Pete Lau in December 2013. Pei left OnePlus in September 2020 after making OnePlus a popular brand.

He announced the establishment of Nothing Company on January 27, 2021.
