Overground worker arrested from Kupwara, arms and ammunition recovered: Jammu Kashmir.

Security forces and police have arrested an overground worker who helped the militants from Kupwara district in North Kashmir. A large quantity of arms and ammunition has been recovered from his possession.

According to the information, the police and security forces received information that the militant’s assistant overground worker Abdul Ahad Lone’s son Abdul Gani Lone resident is hiding in village Gararayal district Kupwara.

Subsequently, the 160th Battalion of the Territorial Army and SOG Karalpora waged a joint search operation and succeeded in capturing the overground worker.

Ten hand grenades, 182 cartridges of AK 47, Rs. 1,69,500 and other items have been recovered from the possession of the overground worker.

The police have registered a case in this regard and have started further investigation. Preliminary investigations have revealed that the overground worker caught was working for the terrorist organization Al Badr.

It is worth mentioning that in the last month, two overground workers of Lashkar-e-Taiba were arrested by the police in district Budgam of central Kashmir.

The police and security forces were given concrete information that both these overground workers have been helping the terrorists for a long time.

When both of these overground workers were caught, then they also seized objectionable documents and posters related to the Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist organization.

Both these overground workers were entrusted with the responsibility of strengthening the network of the Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist organization. Apart from this, they also encouraged local youth to join the terrorist organization.

All three Lashkar-e-Taiba militants were killed in an encounter between militants and security forces on Tuesday morning in the Vailo area of ​​Kokernag in district Anantnag in south Kashmir.

Two of his other accomplices were killed in an encounter with security forces in Kakpora Pulwama on April 2. The police have also arrested two youths involved in the attack on the house of the BJP leader.
