Took refuge in a mosque

A commander of Pakistan’s 75th Infantry Brigade, which was stationed in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) close to Muzaffarabad, reportedly refused to return to the post during the attack, according to Indian Army sources.

When junior officers contacted him about reopening the post, he replied in a scary manner that ‘the office will open later, first save your life.’ The intercepted radio conversation also revealed that the commander had taken refuge in a mosque.

Pak Commander Flees Post: The commander had escaped

“Our commander Sahab has escaped with great difficulty,” a junior officer overheard. He is offering namaz in the mosque. He has sent his men here and said that he will return only when the situation calms down.”

India’s Operation Sindoor was focused on terrorist hideouts, while Pakistan’s retaliation included shelling on civilian areas. In response, Indian attacks targeted Pakistani military posts, and more attacks were carried out.
