Pakistan Army helicopter crashes in Balochistan, six including Lt Gen killed.
A military helicopter deployed in the flood relief operation in Balochistan, Pakistan has been reported to have crashed.
The Lieutenant General and five senior military officers aboard the helicopter have died.
According to the information, due to bad weather, the helicopter lost contact with ATC (Air Traffic Control) on Monday, and such a big accident happened.
The wreckage of this helicopter was found at Musa Goth in the Lasbela district.
In the incident, Lieutenant General Sarfaraz Ali who was supervising flood relief operations in Balochistan province, and all the five officers and soldiers accompanying him were killed.
The media wing of Pakistan’s Armed Forces said that according to preliminary investigation, bad weather caused the accident.
The helicopter, which was going in the flood relief operation, included pilot Major Syed, co-pilot Major Talha, Director General of Coast Guard Brigadier Amjad, Engineer Brigadier Khalid, and Chief Naik Mudassir.
Bad weather became the cause of death.
Officials said that the helicopter took off from the town of Lasbela at 5:10 pm on Monday, after which it was to land in Karachi but due to bad weather, communication with the air traffic controller was lost.

Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed informed Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif about this development on the phone on Tuesday.
Sharif expressed grief over the accident. Former Prime Minister Imran Khan also expressed his condolences. He said that the army helicopter has crashed, this is very sad news for Pakistan.
478 people died in floods.
Heavy rains and flash floods have wreaked havoc in Pakistan’s province of Balochistan. So far 478 people have died due to floods. Military officials are engaged in rescue and relief efforts in the affected districts.
