Pakistan could not gather support on Kashmir issue from Muslim countries, then returned a loan of one billion dollars to Saudi Arabia by taking loans from China. On August 5, it has been a full year since the special status of Jammu and Kashmir was abolished.
Against this historic step of India, Pakistan tried all the maneuvers and tried to mobilize the global forces but failed. Even Pak could not unite Muslim countries against India. In the past, repeated requests by Pakistan to hold a meeting of foreign ministers on Kashmir were turned down by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). By this, Pakistan has turned its eyes on Saudi Arabia.
Pakistan has returned one billion dollars out of three billion dollars of debt to Saudi Arabia. The funny thing is that Pakistan has borrowed a billion dollars from China for repayment of this loan … That is, Pak, which is on the verge of Bankruptcy, is now taking a loan to repay the debt.
The Pakistani newspaper ‘The Express Tribune’, quoting highly placed sources, has revealed in its report that Saudi Arabia has been angered by this attitude of Imran Khan’s government and has withdrawn its financial support. The leading media agency has said in its report that it has become clear from this development that Pakistan is gradually losing the support of Muslim nations as well.
Explain that in October 2018, Saudi Arabia announced a $ 6.2 billion financial package for three years to Pakistan. The amount also included cash assistance for the above three billion dollars. Oil and gas were to be supplied to Pakistan in exchange for the remaining amount, but Pakistan has also hated a Muslim nation like Saudi Arabia due to its remotest mindset.
It is worth mentioning that in the past, Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi had threatened the OIC that if it does not call a meeting of foreign ministers, then Pakistan will be forced to call a separate meeting of the Islamic countries which stand with it on Kashmir issue.
Let us tell you that OIC is the second-largest intergovernmental body after the UN and Pak have been insisting on convening a meeting of foreign ministers after the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir in August last year. However, every time it has been disappointed with this 57-member organization.
