Pakistan Increased Incidents Of Ceasefire Violations At LOC & IB

Pakistan increased incidents of ceasefire violations after Article 370 is removed from Jammu and Kashmir. Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Narwane has said that about 300-400 terrorists are waiting to cross the border from the launching pad of terrorists built near the Indian border in Pakistan.  Their purpose is to disturb the peace and attack in the valley.

Addressing the soldiers on the occasion of Army Day, the general asked them to be more vigilant on the border.  At the same time, he said that the soldiers standing at the border know how to answer the enemy by breaking their mouths. According to him, cases of ceasefire violations by Pakistan have increased by about 44 percent.

It has been seen for the first time in the last 17 years that Pakistan has committed so many ceasefire violations.

According to General Narwane, in the year 2019, where ceasefire violations were done by Pakistan 3168 times, in 2020, this type of incident was seen 4700 times. Statistics show that only from August to December, Pakistan violated the ceasefire 1551 times.

The most important thing in this is that cases of such ceasefire violations have increased more rapidly after the abolition of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir.

In 2018, Pakistan violated the ceasefire 1629 times. Pakistan is trying every possible help to terrorists. Under this, he is trying to send terrorists through drones, arms, and ammunition through tunnels.  Many such attempts of Pakistan have been successfully thwarted by Indian soldiers.

General Narwane said that the eyes of Indian jawans are always kept on the movements from across the border. According to him, last year around 200 terrorists were killed during a counter-terrorism operation.

Talking about the North East, in the year 2020 there, about 600 militants surrendered before the army while laying down arms.

In addition, the army also seized a large number of arms and ammunition. According to him, the Indian jawans have achieved tremendous success in counter-terrorism operations.

During this time, the army has worked well with the Myanmar army on the border. The Assam Rifles and State Governments in the North East are also executing India’s Act East Policy.
