Pakistan Is Sending Weapons From Drones

Pakistan is sending weapons from drones, security agencies are taking action on them. Pakistan has started supplying arms through drones.

Some such cases have come to light and security agencies are taking action on them. Minister of State for Home Affairs Kishan Reddy gave this information in a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday.

In a written reply to another question, the Minister of State for Home said that there has been a decrease in terrorist incidents in Jammu and Kashmir during the last three years, but the incidents of cross-border shelling have increased.

“Some cases of arms supply by Pakistan through drones have come to the knowledge of security and law enforcement agencies,” Reddy said. He said that the government is taking various steps to meet these challenges.

Pakistan is sending weapons: These include 24-hour effective surveillance, streamlining the intelligence system, increasing patrolling near the border.

Alerting the local population living in border areas, monitoring posts, border fencing, installation of modern and high-technology surveillance equipment, etc.

In response to another question, the Minister of State for Home Affairs said, “There has been a decrease in terrorist incidents and cross-border infiltration in Jammu and Kashmir during the last three years.

But there has been an increase in incidents of cross-border shelling. He said that in 2018 there were 614 terrorist incidents which came down to 244 in 2020.

3800 displaced Kashmiris returned for employment under PM special package.

Minister of State for Home Reddy said that since 1990 there are 44,167 registered families displaced from the valley due to security concerns.

Of these, 39,782 are Hindu families. In the last few years, about 3800 Kashmiri displaced Jammu and Kashmir have returned.

After the abrogation of Article 370, 520 Kashmiris have returned. All of them have returned to get employment under the special package of the Prime Minister.

40,000 soldiers of CAPF, Assam Rifles sought VR.

In a written reply to a question, Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai told the Rajya Sabha that 40,096 jawans of the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF).

Assam Rifles have sought voluntary retirement (VR) in the last five years while 6,529 other jawans have resigned in the same period have given.

More than half of voluntary retirement has been sought by Border Security Force (BSF) personnel alone.
