Pakistani drones seen again in Poonch on Sunday morning attempted to enter Indian territory four times in 36 hours: Jammu Kashmir.

Earlier, a drone was spotted at Basuni Gold village in Mendhar tehsil of Poonch district at around 6.30 pm on Saturday. It had penetrated deep into Indian territory.

After seeing the drone, an alert was issued in the entire area and police and army personnel also reached the spot.

SSP Poonch Romesh Kumar Angral said that a search operation has been started to surround the entire area whether weapons have been dropped in the area through drones.

Some time ago, weapons have been dropped by drones in both Rajouri and Poonch districts, which have also been recovered by the army and police.

On Saturday evening, the Pakistani drone penetrated within 300 to 500 meters in the Ramgarh area bordering the Kathua district on the international border.

He was out of sight before the security forces killed him. Earlier on Friday, the movement of Pakistani drones was also seen in Chakk Fakira, a border village of the Samba sector.

After hovering in the sky for some time, the drone went back to Pakistan.

After these incidents, BSF jawans carried out a search operation on the border to find out if the drone has been throwing weapons and ammunition.
