Pakistani forces have once again violated the ceasefire by firing on the international border in Arnia, Jammu, fired on the border guards doing repair work.

Pakistan’s Chenab Rangers personnel opened fire on the border guards carrying out repair work in their area near Bikram post on Wednesday morning. Some bullets hit the JCB doing repair work.
The information about the injury of a border guard in this firing has not been confirmed by the Border Security Force. The cross-border firing stopped after the Border Security Force gave a strong response to this firing.
After the firing on the border from Pakistan, the Border Security Force is keeping a tight vigil in the area.
On Wednesday, senior officials of the Border Security Force visited the IB in Arena to take stock of the situation arising out of Pakistan’s firing.
Pakistan is not following the ceasefire agreement in Jammu. In such a situation, mischief from across the border continues continuously.
In the first week of May, Pakistan had opened fire on the soldiers of the Border Security Forces patrolling at Ramgarh in Samba district.
At the same time, the soldiers foiled an attempt to infiltrate Pakistan in the Samba sector on 19 May. The intruder, who was injured in the firing of border guards, died during treatment.
Pakistan is making constant efforts to support terrorism in the Samba sector. In such a situation, three infiltration attempts in this area in the last few years have failed.
Last month, alert border guards recovered weapons thrown by Pakistani drones in the Regal area of the International Border in Samba.
