Panun Kashmir, an organization of the migrant Kashmiri Pandits, reiterated on Sunday the demand for the creation of a separate union territory in the valley for the return of the people of this community.

With this, the organization said that “India’s national interests can be protected” only by their rehabilitation in the region.

The organization rejected any rehabilitation policy that did not recognize the “massacre” of pundits.

A statement issued on behalf of it said that the creation of the Union Territory of Panun Kashmir has become a geopolitical imperative to protect “the national interests of India”.
