Parambir Singh Reached Mumbai To Join The Investigation

Parambir Singh reached Mumbai to join the investigation.

Former Police Commissioner Parambir Singh reached Mumbai to join the investigation, know where was he for so many days.

Former police commissioner Parambir Singh has reached Mumbai on Thursday to join the investigation. A court has declared him a fugitive in the recovery case.

Talking to the media after reaching here, Singh said that he would cooperate in the investigation as per the directions of the court. Responding to the questions of the media, he told that he was in Chandigarh.

Let us inform that Parambir Singh had filed a petition in the Supreme Court for protection from arrest, hearing which the court, while giving relief to him, directed him to cooperate in the investigation.

Earlier during the hearing, the court had said that first, they have to tell where they are, only then the petition will be heard.

Parambir Singh was missing for a long time. He last visited his office in May this year.

The Mumbai Police had recently filed an application in Mumbai’s Esplanade Court to declare Parambir Singh as a proclaimed offender.

After this, the court accepted Parambir Singh and declared him a fugitive.

The Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch, which is probing the entire case, had urged Singh to be declared absconding, saying he could not be traced even after a non-bailable warrant was issued against him.

Maharashtra government rejected the allegation of CBI, said- Deshmukh is not interfering in the investigation of the case

The Maharashtra government on Wednesday dismissed the CBI’s allegation before the Bombay HC that it was obstructing the central agency’s probe against former state home minister Anil Deshmukh.

Senior advocate Dares Khambata, appearing for the state, said, “The state government has nothing to do in the Deshmukh case.

The state government has moved the court against the CBI summons to Chief Secretary Sitaram Kunte and Director General of Police Sanjay Pandey as part of the investigation against Deshmukh.

Khambata said the Maharashtra government has nothing to do with him (Deshmukh). Please continue the investigation.

He made this argument while objecting to the CBI’s decision to give some material related to the investigation in a sealed cover.

He told a bench of Justices Nitin Jamdar and SV Kotwal that the CBI should openly deposit everything in the court.
