Parents who murdered daughters arrested, this strange superstition came in front of the police.

Madanapalle police on Tuesday arrested the parents who killed their own daughter due to superstition in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh (Andhra Pradesh).

The police have registered a murder case against the parents. The surprising thing about this is that these highly educated parents who murdered their daughters believed that the Kalyug is coming to an end and Satyuga is coming and by divine power, they will be alive again in a few hours.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Ravimanohar Achari told the police on Tuesday, ‘We have registered a case under section 302 and arrested father Purushottam Naidu and Padmaja.

They will now be produced in court. N. Purushottam Naidu is the Vice Principal of Government Women Degree College, Madanapalle and his wife Padmaja is the Principal Correspondent of the Private Educational Institute. The two reportedly killed their two daughters together.

According to the police, this entire matter is of superstition. The police tried to conduct both of them Kovid-19 test at the government hospital in Madanapalle but Padmaja denied it and claimed to be Lord Shiva himself. Then the police conducted his test in his car. The two accused were then taken to the police station.

One of the two daughters, Alekhya, 27, was doing post-graduation in Bhopal, while his younger sister Sai Divya, 22, was learning music while studying for a BBA.

Giving details of the case, the DSP said that Purushottam and Padmaja were superstitious and were carrying out mysterious rituals.

The DSP further stated that he also has psychological problems. On Sunday night, both of them killed their younger daughter Sai Divya with a trident.

After this, a copper vessel was placed on the mouth of the eldest daughter Alekhya and she was hurt by a dumbbell which caused her death. Purushottam himself called one of his Kulig and told the whole incident after which the police got the news of the case.
