According to information received from IOCL, today the price of one liter of petrol in Delhi is Rs 80.90 per liter. One liter petrol is getting 82.43 in Kolkata, 87.58 in Mumbai, and one-liter petrol in Chennai for 83.99 rupees per liter.

At the same time, if you talk about diesel, today diesel is being sold at Rs 73.56 per liter in Delhi, 77.06 in Kolkata, 80.11 in Mumbai, and one liter in Chennai for Rs 78.86 per liter. Petrol-diesel prices change daily and are updated at 6 am. You can get this information through SMS.

Talking about other cities, diesel is being sold in Noida at 73.87, Lucknow at Rs 73.77 per liter. Apart from the four metros, petrol is being sold at 81.45 in Noida, 80.61 in Ranchi, Rs 81.35 per liter in Lucknow.

The international fuel market is sluggish these days due to the increasing cases of Covid-19. However, due to the decrease in demand, the price of crude oil is increasing slightly these days.

Presently, fuel prices are different in different parts of the country due to reasons like crude oil and foreign exchange rates.  Government-run oil marketing companies – Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum implement any change in prices from 6 am every day.

It is noteworthy that after reducing VAT on diesel from 30 percent to 16.75% in Delhi, diesel has become cheaper in Delhi, otherwise, Delhi had the most costly diesel in the country and its rate was also higher than petrol.
