Devotees across the country are very keen on the preparations for Baba Amarnath’s yatra starting on May 28, but they have to pay attention to one specific thing.

All pilgrims will have to bring a report of the corona negative before traveling. Apart from this, testing centers will be set up at various places to check the devotees.

The devotees whose corona negative report will come will be allowed to visit. In Lakhanpur, travelers coming from outside states are also being investigated.

Keeping in view the increasing cases in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the Government has started taking strict steps.

Apart from this, travelers coming from outside states are also being investigated at Lakhanpur, the gateway of the state.

Today, around 72 travelers from outside states were returned after being confirmed for corona infection during investigations.

State Health Department Financial Commissioner Atal Dhullu says that the government and administration are fully prepared for the forthcoming visit of Baba Amarnath.

Only the pilgrims coming for the negative report will be allowed to go on the yatra. This is being done to prevent the spread of corona infection in the state. Arrangement of testing has been made at various places in the state.

Pilgrims going on Amarnath Yatra: Today, the maximum number of 1516 cases were reported in the state.

Today, in the second phase of the Corona wave in Jammu and Kashmir, 1516 new cases of corona infection have been reported. Today nine people have also died in the state due to corona infection.

Significantly, more than one thousand corona infection cases are coming up in the state every day. Corona is in a terrible state in Kashmir.

Health Department has also canceled the holidays of state doctors, paramedical staff, and nursing staff.
