During this, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and all the ministers of the Madhya Pradesh government will also be present.
The Government of India launched the Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Samvad Yojana on June 1, 2020, to support the Corona virus-affected street vendors and link them back to employment.
I welcome You and welcome the Prime Minister. Your greetings for the work you have done for the development of the country. You get to learn how to do the work of turning challenges into opportunities.
Under this amazing scheme, a loan of up to Rs 10,000 is given which is guaranteed by the government. This will prove to be a lifeline for them. 1.08 lakh people are going to benefit from it: Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana, a loan of ten thousand rupees has been provided to one lakh street vendors from banks.
So far, cases of one lakh 40 thousand urban street vendors have been approved, which is the highest in the country. The scheme is proving to be of great benefit to street vendors.
It has not only been made easily accessible, but it has also taken care of every facility. PM Modi tweeted that on September 9 at 11 am, I am very keen on ‘Swanidhi Samvad’ through video conferencing.
In this special conversation, we will get an opportunity to know the experiences of our hard-working street vendors of Madhya Pradesh. In another tweet, he said, the PM-Swanidhi scheme was launched in June this year to help street vendors.
It is heartening that 4.5 lakh street vendors have registered under this scheme in Madhya Pradesh. This is a large number, for which I commend the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
