Consumer intelligence company Brandwatch has released its list of the 50 most influential people on Twitter for the year 2021.
According to this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the second most influential person on Twitter, while American singer Taylor Swift is in the first place. There is no other leader on this list besides PM Modi.
At the same time, the name of great batsman Sachin Tendulkar has also been included in this list of 50 most influential people.
PM Modi is the world’s second most influential person: Sachin Tendulkar has been ranked 35th in this year’s list of 50 most influential people on Twitter.
Tendulkar is ranked above former US First Lady Michelle Obama, American actor Dwayne Johnson and Leonardo DiCaprio.
His commendable works have been cited for the inclusion of Tendulkar in this list. Sachin Tendulkar has been associated with UNICEF for more than a decade.
In 2013, Sachin was appointed the ambassador of South Asia.
Apart from PM Modi, former US President Barack Obama and former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are included in the list of 50 most influential people.
Barack Obama is ranked fifth on the list, while Hillary Clinton is ranked 25th.

How the CCPI is ranked: The CCPI is released by the Germanwatch organization New Climate Institute in association with the Climate Action Network (CAN).
Germanwatch has been working since 1991 for global equality and the protection of livelihoods, while CAN is a network of approximately 1,500 civil societies in 130 countries.
Apart from average performance in renewable energy, India has performed very well in other categories. Norway has been the best in renewable energy.
