PM Modi praised scientists on vaccine approval, says- one more step towards self-reliant India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) on approving the emergency use of the Corona vaccine manufactured by the Serum Institute and Bharat Biotech.

He described it as the turning point of a spirited battle. PM Modi said that the two vaccines whose emergency use has been approved are made in India.

PM Modi has praised the scientists for this. He said that our scientific community has shown the spirit of self-reliant India. At its core are care and compassion.

The PM wrote in his tweet that DCGI accelerates the path to a healthy and COVID-free nation by approving the Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech vaccines.

Prepare for vaccination like election process, know what is the plan of the government

The Corona vaccine is eagerly awaiting in the country. The government has also taken up the task to reach people in a convenient manner. Vaccination dry runs were carried out across the country on Saturday.

It consisted of 285 centers in 125 districts. Meanwhile, Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that in the first phase, the corona vaccine will be free for 3 crore people.

These will include 1 crore healthcare workers and 2 crore frontline workers. Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that we have prepared for the vaccination up to the booth level based on the election process.

Around 57,000 participants from 719 districts have completed their training. A total of 96,000 vaccinators have been trained so far.

Only the vaccine was fake in the dry run, everything else is real

In this dry run, only the vaccine was fake, everything else was real. It included more than 260 centers in 125 districts. Vaccine dummy doses were given to 25 people in each center.

This was in a way the final rehearsal before the start of the corona vaccination, after which now the real vaccination could be started soon. This dry run was also important because the country has got two corona vaccines.

One is the name Kovishield, prepared by the Serum Institute and may soon be announced for Corona Vaccination.
