PM Modi Remembered The Great Contribution Of Soldiers

PM Modi remembered the great contribution of soldiers on Army Day, Indian Army also saluted through video.

The Indian Army Day celebrated on 15 January marks an important event in memory of the bravery shown by the soldiers.

Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that India is proud of the outstanding contribution of the Army in peacekeeping missions abroad.

Praising the jawans, PM also highlighted that the Indian Army personnel have been serving in hostile areas and have been at the forefront of helping fellow civilians during a humanitarian crisis.

PM Modi remembered the great contribution of soldiers: Indian soldiers do not lag behind even in natural calamities.

PM Modi tweeted that India is proud of the outstanding contribution of the army in peace operations abroad.

Indian Army also released the video of the bravery of the soldiers.

Indian Army has released a video showcasing the valor of Army personnel on the occasion of Army Day. The moments of the bravery of the soldiers of the three armies are shown in this video.

All three army chiefs lay a wreath at the National War Memorial.

On the occasion of Army Day, Chiefs of Armed Forces General Manoj Mukund Naravane (Army), Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhary (Air Force), and Admiral R Hari Kumar (Navy) also paid floral tributes at the National War Memorial.

Amit Shah also wished Happy Army Day.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted on the occasion and said, ‘Happy Army Day to the brave soldiers, ex-servicemen and their families of the Indian Army.

I bow to the indomitable courage, valor, and supreme sacrifice of the brave soldiers who are always ready to defend the motherland.

Your selfless service, dedication, and commitment towards the country are an inspiration for every Indian.

Army Day is celebrated in memory of Field Marshal Kodandera M Cariappa.

Army Day is celebrated every year on 15 January to commemorate Field Marshal Kodandera M Cariappa of the Indian Army becoming the first Indian Commander-in-Chief.

The post was assumed on 15 January 1949 by the last British Commander-in-Chief of India, General Sir Francis Butcher.
