PM Modi Will Inaugurate, National Conference Of Vigilance

PM Modi will inaugurate the national conference of vigilance and anti-corruption today. PM Modi will inaugurate the National Conference on Vigilance and Anti Corruption through video conferencing today.

This conference is held every year from 27 October to 2 November. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) organizes this conference. The CBI celebrates this every year as Vigilance Awareness Week.

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has stated that this inaugural session will be live-streamed. The live-stream of the event can be seen on ‘pmindiawebcast.nic.in’ lin. This conference will be inaugurated at 4.45 pm today.

These topics will be discussed

In this conference, programs related to vigilance issues will be organized, which will increase awareness among the people. In this three-day conference, challenges in an investigation in foreign courts will be discussed.

Also, preventive vigilance as a systemic check against corruption; Systemic reforms for financial inclusion and bank fraud prevention; Effective audit as an engine of growth.

The latest amendment to the Prevention of Corruption Act as a counterweight to the fight against corruption; Capacity building and training.

Multi-agency coordination — An enabler for faster and more effective investigations.

Emerging trends in economic crime, cybercrimes, and criminal organized crime measures to control and exchange best practices among criminal investigation agencies will be discussed in the program.
