Police working on pro-active policy: IGP. IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said on Friday that the police in the valley are working on a pro-active policy against terrorists. The Tral and Sirhama campaigns are the results of this policy.

IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said on Friday that around 200 terrorists, including 90 foreign terrorists, are active in the Valley. He said that we have full information about 40 out of 90 foreign terrorists.

Describing the destruction of various hideouts of terrorists in the Valley, the IGP said that during the last one year, we have destroyed 22 big hideouts. These were built in forests, gardens.

Most of them were underground. Now the terrorists will not find hideouts in time to come. In winter he would come to the villages to seek refuge, populated. We will get the news and he will be killed.

Apart from this, the IGP said that Pakistan is doing everything possible to spread terror in Jammu and Kashmir to spoil the situation. It has started massive propaganda on online media on social media.

Pak is tricking the local youths here. It is also sending weapons through drones and tunnels to spoil the situation here. In Kulgam on Thursday, the police along with the army caught a cache of arms from a vehicle.
