Poonch LoC Mine Blast: Teenager injured in landmine blast near Line of Control in Poonch, under treatment in hospital.

A 12-year-old boy was seriously injured after being hit by a landmine in an area near the Line of Control in Poonch. He was immediately admitted to the hospital for treatment.

According to information, a 12-year-old boy from the Nakarkot area of ​​the Poonch district had gone out to graze cattle and accidentally stepped on a landmine planted near the Line of Control.

He is seriously injured. He was identified as Rizwan Khan son of Yunus Khan resident of Nakarkot.

He was immediately admitted to a hospital by the local unit of the army where he is undergoing treatment.

It is worth mentioning that on the night of July 17, an army captain and a deputy subedar were killed in a landmine explosion near the Line of Control in Poonch.

Poonch LoC Mine Blast: A few soldiers including an army captain were injured in a sudden blast during night duty in the Mendhar sector.

Considering the serious condition of the injured, they were taken to the Udhampur Army Hospital where a Captain along with a Naib Subedar succumbed to their injuries during treatment.

They were martyred while seven other jawans were injured and are undergoing treatment.

The victim Captain Anand KN Jha is a resident of Champa Nagar district of Bhagalpur Bihar while the Naib Subedar was identified as Bhagwan Singh. He was a resident of Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.

There are 1.16 lakh posts vacant in the Indian Army, the Modi government informed in the Lok Sabha.

The Modi government has recently launched the ‘Agnipath Yojana’ to induct youth into the army. A lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the youth about Agneepath Yojana.

Meanwhile, the government told the parliament that more than one lakh 16 thousand posts are lying vacant in the Indian Army.

Among them, more than 7 thousand posts are of officer level. Let it be known that the opposition is constantly besieging the Modi government on the issue of unemployment and inflation.

In the Lower House of Parliament, the Lok Sabha, the government said on Friday, ‘More than 1.16 lakh posts are vacant in the Indian Army.

These include 7,308 post officers. Union Minister of State for Defense Ajay Bhatt, in a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha, said that while 7,308 posts of officers are vacant in the Indian Army, 471 posts of Army Nursing Service Officers are vacant.

Apart from this, 1,08,685 posts of junior commissioned officers and other ranks are vacant.

Ajay Bhatt informed that 1,446 posts of officers (excluding medical and dental) are vacant in the Navy.

12,151 posts of naval personnel are under. The minister said that 572 posts of officers and 5,217 posts of airmen are vacant in the Air Force.
