Rafale flying to Srinagar and Leh Ladakh, French team stationed in Ambala to monitor: Rafale Fighter Aircraft.

The security cordon has been further strengthened after the deployment of Rafale at Ambala airbase. Rafale is flying from Ambala to Srinagar and Leh Ladakh amid tensions on the India-Pakistan border.

The French team is stationed at Ambala Air Force Station to monitor these aircraft. Construction of 14 hangars for Rafale completed at Ambala airbase, others continue.

The distance from Srinagar to Pakistan is about 220 km and Leh Ladakh is 427 km. That is why Rafale fighter aircraft has been deployed here.

The construction of around 14 hangars for Rafale has been completed at Ambala airbase, while work on others is in progress. Even the French team is also stationed at Ambala airbase for technical help.

After the drone attack on the Jammu airbase, the domestic airport to be built in Ambala may also hang.

For exercise from Ambala, Rafale will reach Srinagar and Leh Ladakh in a few minutes. For this, Rafale is flying continuously.

There is a plan to build a domestic airport near Ambala airbase, but after the drone attack in Jammu, this plan may also hang.

The Ambala airbase has two squadrons of Jaguar apart from Rafale, so the final decision on the location of the airbase rests with the Defense Ministry from the point of view of security.

Sources say that Air Force officers have also talked about this matter to the Ministry of Defense and told about the status of the airport and airbase.

Taking photographs, flying drones, entry of private persons are prohibited around the Air Force. But after becoming a domestic airport, the security cordon will have to be strengthened further.

Rafale was inducted into the Air Force on 10 September 2020

The Rafale was formally inducted on 10 September 2020 at the ceremony at the Ambala airbase. Five Rafale aircraft had landed from France at Ambala Cantt airbase.

The ceremony was attended by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh along with his French counterpart, Air Force Chief RKS Bhadauria.

The responsibility of Rafale has been entrusted to the Golden Arrow Squadron. It is noteworthy that this squadron was established at Ambala airbase by former Air Force Chief BS Dhanoa.

Ambala airbase started in 1919.

Ambala Airbase was started in the year 1919 with Air Traffic Control. During this, DH-9 and Brister fighter aircraft were operated.

Ambala Cantt Air Force Station played an important role in Balakot Air Strike.

During the Indo-Pak wars, the Pakistan Air Force made several attempts to blow up the Ambala airbase, but could not damage the airstrip.
