Rahul Tripathi Reprimanded For IPL Code Of Conduct Violation

Rahul Tripathi reprimanded for the IPL code of conduct violation. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) opener batsman Rahul Tripathi was reprimanded for violating the Indian Premier League (IPL) code of conduct during a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Sunday.

IPL said this in an official release. The league said in its statement that Rahul accepted Level 1 violation of the Code of Conduct. The decision of the match referee is the final decision.

KKR defeated Hyderabadi in the Super Over at Sheikh Zayed Stadium here on Sunday. Both teams scored 163 runs in their scheduled 20 overs and the match tied.

The match was decided in a super over. During the match, Hyderabad required 30 runs in the final two overs. Shivam Mavi bowled brilliantly and took 12 wickets for Abdul Samad (23).

Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and invited KKR to bat. Shubman Gill (36) and Rahul Tripathi (23) gave a good start by sharing 48 runs for the first wicket. KKR gave Hyderabad a target of 164 runs.

Captain David Warner (47 not out) did not come for the opening. Hyderabad only benefited from this. Warner began to play long shots for the required runs in the final overs.

He once brought the team extremely close to the goal, but could not win. Hyderabad needed 18 runs off the final six balls and an injured Andre Russell bowled the last over of the innings.

Warner failed to score twice on the last ball and the match went into a super over. Loki Ferguson bowled a super over for KKR and took two wickets in the first three balls.

KKR needed three runs to win. Eoin Morgan and Dinesh Karthik came to bat and easily won KKR.

The Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) is scheduled to have two matches today. The 37s of IPL 13th edition will be played between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR).

Explain that due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic, this time IPL is being organized in UAE. There has been a match between the two teams earlier in the tournament. Rajasthan defeated Chennai in that match.

Chennai is seventh in the points table. Rajasthan is in eighth place. Both teams have played nine matches. Both have won three matches.
