Rajasthan Political Crisis: Political fiasco released in Rajasthan, Sachin Pilot camp asks for time to meet Rahul Gandhi. In the midst of the Rajasthan political crisis, former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, along with his supporting MLAs, has sought an appointment with Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi is expected to meet Sachin Pilot in the next day or two.

The meeting will take place before the session of the state legislature begins on 14 August. According to sources, Sachin Pilot has met Congress Treasurer Ahmed Patel and Organization General Secretary KC Venugopal in the last two days. There is also information about Sachin Pilot talking to Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra over the telephone.

After discussions with some other mediators, Sachin Pilot has sought an appointment with Rahul Gandhi. On the other hand, seeing the attitude of the party high command, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot told the MLAs of his camp, in politics, sometimes a sip of poison has to be drunk. He said that many times decisions have to be made by placing stones on the heart. On Monday, Gehlot held discussions with his trusted ministers and MLAs before leaving for Jaisalmer to Jaipur.

Earlier in the meeting of legislators on Sunday evening, other legislators including Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shanti Dhariwal demanded action on the rebels, saying that they should never be taken back. Gehlot said that we have to respect the high command’s decision. Whatever decision the high command decides, we will accept it.

Gehlot said that in politics, many things have to be accepted even if they do not want to. State Congress Committee President Govind Singh Dotasara said that the rebels should come back respecting the spirit of the workers.

Meanwhile, Congress Working Committee member Raghuvir Meena said that if rebel MLAs vote in favor of Congress in the floor test, they will be forgiven. Raghuveer Meena’s statement is being linked to the exercise of reconciliation. Congress is trying to make any formula work before 14 August and the pilots get ready to return so that the government can be protected before the floor test.

One of the reasons for this attempt of Congress is the possible decision on 6 BSP MLAs coming from Rajasthan High Court on Tuesday. If the High Court gives a stay on the merger of BSP MLAs with the Congress, it will be difficult to save the government.
