Rajouri Twin Blast: Lashkar carried out double bomb blasts in Rajouri, District Commander Talib absconded, and two associates were arrested.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday claimed to have solved the double blast case in the Rajouri district of the Jammu division.

Rajouri police engaged in the investigation of these cases have arrested two accused involved in the Kotranka and Budhal blast cases. Another accused is absconding and is being sought.

With the arrest of these accused, the police have also gathered much evidence, which proves that these three had carried out both these blasts at the behest of the masters of terrorist organizations sitting in Pakistan.

Let us tell you that the first two explosions were done in Kotaranka town of district Rajouri. There was an explosion on 26 March, in which two people were injured.

After that, on 19 April, there was a bomb blast in Shahpur Budhal. About two people were also injured in this blast. Police started an investigation in both cases.

Acting on information, Rajouri Police along with joint teams of the Army’s 60 RR (14 Sector) Battalion conducted several raids and search operations in the Larkoti, Targain, Jaglanu, and Daraz areas of the district.

During this two people were arrested. On interrogation, both of them expressed their involvement in these blasts and told that the planner of these attacks is Talib Shah, who has direct contact with the masters of terrorist organizations sitting across the border in Pakistan.

The arrested accused have been identified by the police as Mohammad Shabir’s son Ghulam Hussain and Mohammad Sadiq’s son Ibrahim both residents of Daraz, Budhal.

Police said that during the investigation it has come to the fore that three accused Talib Shah son of Haider Shah, Mohammad Shabir son of Ghulam Hussain, and Mohammad Sadiq son of Ibrahim together carried out the incidents of these blasts.

Talib received arms, ammunition, and explosives sent from across the border on the instructions of the masters sitting in Pakistan. Later these IEDs were used in blasts.

During preliminary investigation, it has emerged that this group led by Talib Hussain Shah collected three consignments of arms, ammunition, and explosives sent from across the border in the Lamberi-Kalakot area in January, March, and April 2022.

So far, two accused involved in these attacks, Mohammad Shabbir and Mohammad Sadiq, have been arrested and the third accused Talib Shah is absconding.

Talib Shah is the commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba in General Area Rajouri. He is the mastermind of all terrorist activities in the Pir Panjal area.

Rajouri Twin Blast: He has also inspired many youths to carry out terrorist activities in Rajouri. Shabbir and Sadiq were also inspired by Talib to carry out terrorist activities.

Talib has played a role in almost all terror incidents in Pir Panjal districts in the last 2/3 years.

It has also emerged that this group was also providing shelter to some active Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists in the Kandi-Budhal area.

This gang has been trying for a long time to revive terrorism in Pir Panjal districts. Rajouri police said that solving these cases is a big achievement.

Panic spread in the Rajouri district due to these double blasts. The police also alerted that these accused were planning more such attacks to target the security forces.

The arrest of two associates of Talib is a major setback for Lashkar-e-Taiba.

Both the arrested accused revealed during initial interrogation that they had also hidden some explosive material in the forest of the Daraz area.

Police and a team of 60 RR raided the locations mentioned by both the terrorists and during the search five IEDs, five remote controls, nineteen cells, one cover wrap, one piece of cloth, and ten fuses were recovered.

The police officials also claimed that there is still a lot of information about these accused, which will soon be brought out during interrogation.

He said that after the arrest of Talib, much important information can be obtained about the terrorist incidents in the district Pir Panjal area so far. He will be found soon.
