Reliance opens Jio World Drive store in Mumbai, world-class branded products will be available here.

Reliance Industries has announced the opening of a new mall in Mumbai named Jio World Drive. It will sell premium products from international and Indian brands.

Reliance Brands CEO Darshan Mehta said that with the opening of Jio World Drive in Bandra, people in Mumbai will get a new shopping experience. It will house 72 international and Indian brands.

Reliance opens Jio World Drive store: There will also be 27 culinary outlets.

Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (RRVL), a subsidiary of RIL, has also said that it has entered into a master franchise agreement with it to run Seven-Eleven’s Convenience Stores in India.

RRVL, the retail arm of Reliance Industries Limited, said that the first Seven-Eleven store is set to open in Andheri East, Mumbai on Saturday.

“RRVL through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Seven-India Convenience Retail Limited, entered into a master franchise agreement with Seven-Eleven Inc.

(SEI) to launch Seven-Eleven stores in India,” a joint statement said.’

After this, stores will be opened rapidly in major areas and commercial areas of the Greater Mumbai region, a statement from Reliance said.

Two days earlier, Kishore Biyani-led Future Group company Future Retail said it has terminated its franchise agreement with American convenience store operator Brand Seven-Eleven to run the store.

With the launch of Seven-Eleven Stores, RRVL as the country’s largest retailer has taken a step forward in its journey to offer an enhanced shopping experience and attractive value proposition to Indian customers.

RRVL said that the Seven-Eleven Store aims at providing one-of-a-kind convenience to the customers by offering beverages, snacks, and other delicacies that appeal to local tastes, all at affordable rates and maintaining high standards of hygiene.
