The bench said in its order that Rohingyas cannot be deported back to Myanmar without following the procedure outlined in the law.

The Supreme Court has said in its judgment that the Rohingyas in Jammu and Kashmir can be sent to Myanmar only by following the prescribed procedure.

The court disposed of the plea to leave Rohingya detained in Jammu and Kashmir and not sent to Myanmar.

On March 26, the court reserved the verdict after the completion of the hearing. The petitioner had said that he had filed this petition in the public interest to save the refugees living in India from being extradited.

The Advocate had said that Rohingya children are murdered and exploited and the Myanmar military has failed to comply with international humanitarian laws.
