RSBVL and Sanmina Will Create World-class Manufacturing Hub In India

RSBVL and Sanmina join hands to create a world-class electronics manufacturing hub in India.

Reliance Strategic Business Ventures Limited (RSBVL), a subsidiary of  RIL, and US stock exchange Nasdaq-listed company Sanmina have joined hands to create a world-class manufacturing hub in India.

Both companies announced this joint venture in March of this year.

This partnership will benefit from Reliance’s expertise and leadership in the Indian ecosystem and Sanmina’s 40 years of experience in modern manufacturing.

Under this, the management team of Sanmeena will continue to run the day-to-day business from Chennai.

Keeping in mind the Make in India vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this joint venture will move towards making India a world-class electronics manufacturing hub.

This joint venture will prioritize high-end technology infrastructure hardware across industries.

Such as communication networks (5G, cloud infrastructure, hyper-scale datacenters), medical and healthcare systems, industrial and cleantech, and defense and aerospace.

Promote research and innovation.

This venture will create the best “Manufacturing Technology Center of Excellence” while maintaining Sanmina’s existing customer base.

It will act as an incubation center for product development and support the startup ecosystem in India. Not only this, but it will also promote research and innovation related to new technology.

All manufacturing will take place in Sanmina’s 100-acre campus located in Chennai.

Along with this, keeping in mind the growth prospects in the future, the site will be expanded and manufacturing sites will also be worked on in other parts of India as per the needs of the business.

‘JV will meet the needs of domestic and global markets.

When the venture was announced in March, Sunmina President and CEO Jure Sola said, “We are extremely excited to partner with Reliance to create an integrated manufacturing company in India.

This joint venture will cater to the needs of both domestic and global markets.

This will prove to be a milestone for the “Make in India” campaign of the Government of India.

‘It is necessary to be self-reliant for development and security.

Akash Ambani, Director, Reliance Jio, said, “We will be delighted to work with Sanmina to gain access to the important market for high-tech manufacturing in India.

It is necessary for India’s development and security to be self-reliant.

Self-reliance in electronics manufacturing is essential for telecom, IT, data center, cloud, 5G, new energy, and other industries as we move into a new digital economy.

Through this partnership, we plan to promote innovation and talent in India while meeting Indian and global demand.”
