Russia has also invited a US delegation to participate in the ‘Moscow Format’ talks to be held on October 20.

Russia has also invited Taliban representatives to the meeting. This will be the first meeting since the Taliban took power in Afghanistan in August.

Moscow is considering Iran’s offer to host a meeting of foreign ministers of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries, Xinhua news agency said on Friday.

This meeting is going to be held in Tehran. A day earlier, the Russian foreign ministry said post-conflict reconstruction and humanitarian aid would be top of the agenda for multilateral talks.

Russia convenes important meeting: The ‘Moscow Format’ meeting on Afghanistan started in 2017.

It includes representatives from Russia, Afghanistan, China, Pakistan, Iran, and India.

Its first phase took place on 14 April 2017 and was attended by Deputy Foreign Ministers and representatives of 11 countries.

Russia, Afghanistan, China, Pakistan, Iran, India, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan participated.

India will also participate in this meeting regarding Afghanistan.

According to the statement of the Ministry of External Affairs, India has also received an invitation for the meeting to be held on October 20.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi said that I cannot confirm who will be attending the meeting, but it is likely that an officer of the rank of Joint Secretary will participate in it.

So far, more than 60 lakh children have got corona in America, 7.5 lakh cases have come in the last one month.

Although the cases of corona infection in the world have decreased significantly as compared to earlier, still the threat of coronavirus is not averted.

Globally, there are worrying signs amid fears of a third wave coming. Cases of corona infection in America and Russia still do not seem to be decreasing.

The death toll here remains worrying. Along with this, now the infection of corona in children is increasing rapidly.

The number of corona-infected children in America has crossed 60 lakhs.

According to a report by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the total number of Covid-19 cases among children in the US has crossed 6 million.
