“During the special operation, the Russian Armed Forces took control of Ukraine’s nuclear facilities Chernobyl and Zaporizhzhia in order to avoid any other terrorists.” The organization could not control it.

He told that there has been no interference from the Russian side in the activities of the NPPs, only they have been protected. Therefore, there is no threat to nuclear security.

Antonov said, ‘The power units are working normally. There is no threat to their safety. The radiation monitoring system is working perfectly.

There is no possibility of the release of radioactive material. This has been confirmed by IAEA.
