External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar held a meeting with UAE Foreign Minister Reem Al Hashimi in New Delhi on Tuesday. The two leaders also shared views on regional and global issues.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar shared details of the meeting with Reem Al Hashimi on X. He said, “It was a pleasure to meet Reem Al Hashimi, UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation.

We talked about the next steps in our all-encompassing strategic relationship and shared our opinions on the local and international scene.”

S Jaishankar Discusses Strategic Partnership: The Foreign Secretary also held a meeting with Minister Reem Hashimi.

Earlier on Tuesday, Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra held a meeting with Minister Reem Hashimi.

During this, ways to further deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries were discussed.

Also during the meeting, Vinay Kwatra and Hashimi reviewed the multidimensional bilateral relations between the two countries.

Review of Multidimensional Aspects.

In a post on Twitter, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, “Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra met Reem Al Hashimi, the UAE’s counterpart for international cooperation, in Delhi.

She reviewed the multidimensional aspects of our bilateral relations and the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Ways to further deepen it were discussed.”

Let us tell you that a few days ago, Foreign Minister Jaishankar said that the perception towards India in the Gulf countries has changed to a great extent in the last years (2014-24).
