Exactly 32 years ago today, 16-year-old Sachin Tendulkar made that record with his half-century, which remains a world record to date.

On 24 November 1989, 16-year-old Sachin Tendulkar scored a half-century against Pakistan at the Faisalabad ground and became the youngest player to score a half-century in Test cricket.

This record of Sachin Tendulkar continues even today and is going to remain so as the ICC has set the limit of debut.

Sachin Tendulkar batted brilliantly in the second test match against Pakistan. Sachin Tendulkar scored his first fifty at the age of 16 years and 214 days.

This was followed by a 143-run partnership for the fifth wicket between Sachin Tendulkar (59 runs) and Sanjay Manjrekar (76 runs).

In the first Test match of this series, Sachin Tendulkar made his Test debut at the Karachi ground.

In the match in which Sachin Tendulkar made his debut for India, the Pakistan team’s fast bowler Waqar Younis also debuted in the same match.

After this Sachin Tendulkar played continuously for India and in the next few years he emerged as a great batsman and got the title of Master Blaster.

He said goodbye to international cricket in 2013 and since then he is the highest scorer in International Test and ODI cricket to date.

He is the first batsman in the world to score the most centuries in international cricket, as he has scored 100 centuries in international cricket. The second-ranked player has not even scored 80 centuries.

At the same time, in the year 2019, he was awarded the ICC Hall of Fame and he became the sixth Indian to receive this award.

Sachin Tendulkar has scored 34,357 runs in his international career, which is 6 thousand runs more than the second-ranked Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara.
