Sakshi Chaudhary Won The Gold Medal In Asia Cup Archery

Sakshi Chaudhary won the gold medal in the Asia Cup, and there was an influx of congratulators at home: Asia Cup Archery. 

International women archer Sakshi Choudhary has brought laurels to the country by winning an individual gold medal in the Asia Cup Stage-2 Archery Championship held in Sulaimaniya, Iraq.

On Tuesday, Sakshi Chaudhary also won the gold medal in the Asia Cup team event.

Ghaziabad’s daughter Sakshi Chaudhary won the gold medal by defeating Preneet Kaur of India by 240 points against 238 in the Asia Cup Stage-2 Archery Championship held in Iraq on Wednesday.

Earlier, in the Asia Cup Stage-1 in Phuket, Thailand, Sakshi won gold in singles and silver in the team events. At present, the name Sakshi is registered in the top five female archer players in the country.

There is an atmosphere of celebration in the family after Sakshi won two gold medals each in the team and an individual in the Asia Cup.

Her father Jitendra Chaudhary, mother Shashi Chaudhary, maternal grandmother Mithlesh, Babita, Manish Chaudhary, Jyoti Chand, and Lalita congratulated each other.

On this achievement of Sakshi Sanjeeva, Head Coach of Archery of Sonipat Sai, Vikas and Surendra Singh of Mangolpuri Devansh Academy said that it is a matter of pride for all the countrymen.

Sakshi Choudhary belongs to a medium family. Father Jitendra Singh used to work in a private company.

When she expressed her desire to learn archery after losing her job during the Corona period, the mother sold her jewelry and got a bow of about one lakh rupees for the compound round.

Before the competition, Dhanush’s releaser was broken, which cost around Rs 25,000. To go to the World Championship, his mother sold her gold ring and got a releaser.

Money could not be arranged for arrows, so coach Vikas got the arrows borrowed.

After winning five international medals including two gold, no financial help was received from the government under any scheme.
