Search operation continues in Kashmir’s Tangmarg for terrorists. Security forces are on a search operation to seize militants in Tangmarg, Jammu, and Kashmir.

The presence of militants was reported on Sunday morning in Tangmarg village of Baramulla district of north Kashmir. Based on this, the police along with the security forces have laid siege to the entire village.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, IG Vijay Kumar of Kashmir told that 184 terrorists have been piled up so far this year. In October itself, in addition to killing 13 terrorists in various encounters, two terrorists have also been caught alive. He tried to carry out a systematic campaign against foreign terrorists operating in the Kashmir Valley and would be killed.

Shakeel, a terrorist carrying a reward of seven lakh, was killed

Security forces and police are jointly mobilizing terrorists operating in the Kashmir Valley by conducting joint operations. On Saturday, security forces in Anantnag had killed notorious Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Nasir alias Shakeel in an encounter.

Shakeel was the IED expert for seven lakhs listed among the A category terrorists. He also trained terrorists to prepare IEDs. Two other terrorists present with Sheikal managed to escape during the encounter that took place yesterday.
