Terrorists have carried out the second terrorist attack on the security forces in the Kashmir Valley within the last 24 hours.

The attack took place in the Harpora Batagund area of ​​South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday. The terrorists tried to target the minority guard here.

Fortunately, the security guard narrowly escaped the attack. At the same time, soon after this attack, the attacking terrorists fled from there.

On the other hand, SOG, Army, and CRPF personnel who reached the spot have cordoned off the entire area and started searching for the terrorists.

The police said that when the terrorists attacked the guard, he was far away. The terrorists missed their target.

Meanwhile, the guard also got alert after hearing the sound of bullets and started retaliatory firing on the terrorists. The attackers fled from the spot soon after the guard opened fire.

Meanwhile, hearing the sound of firing, a joint team of SOG, Army and CRPF reached the spot and they launched a search operation in search of the terrorists.

Let us tell you that earlier on Monday, terrorists attacked two unarmed policemen of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) from behind in Pulwama, South Kashmir.

Head constable sacrifice and assistant sub-inspector were seriously injured.

The security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the entire area to nab the terrorists, but there was no trace of the terrorists.

The attack took place around 5 pm when two Railway Protection Force personnel, Assistant Sub Inspector Devraj, and Head Constable Surendra Kumar, were having tea outside a tea-stall located a short distance from Kakpora railway station in Pulwama.

Both were not on duty at that time and we were sitting there in plain clothes. He didn’t even have any weapon. Suddenly a terrorist came and fired at them from behind with his pistol.

As soon as the bullets hit, both of them fell to the ground and the terrorist fled from there thinking them to be dead.

There was another accomplice of the terrorist, who was standing at some distance from him.

Both the terrorists fled towards their hideout via the farm. The entire incident was also captured in the CCTV installed nearby.

Kashmir IGP Vijay Kumar said that both the Railway Protection Force personnel injured in the terrorist attack were taken to the hospital for treatment, where doctors declared the head constable as a sacrifice.

The condition of the injured Assistant Sub Inspector Dev Raj also remains worrisome. The attacking terrorist has been identified and his hideouts are being raided to nab him.
