Security beefed up in Jammu city after the terrorist’s arrest. Jammu Police has been instructed to be on high alert after the arrest of TRF terrorists from outside the railway station.

Two accomplices of the terrorist are still said to be absconding, for whose search the police are raiding.

The Jammu Police remained alert throughout the day on Sunday so that the absconding accomplices of the terrorist could not carry out any crime.

The District Police and Jammu Police’s  SOG personnel checked vehicles by putting up surprise checkpoints in different parts of the city to keep an eye on the movement of suspicious persons.

Apart from this, security was also tightened at the Jammu railway station. TRF terrorist Sheikh Sunain Yusuf’s accomplice fled after leaving him in a scooty outside the railway station.

Every train entering the station premises was being thoroughly checked. Vehicles were being checked with the help of metal detectors.

Bomb disposal squad personnel are also scouting the railway premises.

Police SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli, who is taking full vigil due to Navratri, says that the jawans have been asked to be alert in view of Navratri starting from October.

The station in-charges have been asked to strengthen the security by holding meetings with the committees of all the temples in their areas.

It is being ensured that CCTV cameras are installed at all religious places. He said that if anyone sees any suspicious activity or any suspicious person, immediately inform the police.
