Amarnath Yatra 2022: Israeli security equipment to protect Amarnath Yatra from a sticky bomb threat.

The CRPF will also use state-of-the-art equipment to make the annual pilgrimage to the holy cave of Shri Amarnath completely safe from the terror threat.

Some of these devices have been sourced from Israel to make the travel protective cover completely impenetrable.

This state-of-the-art equipment fully enables the security forces to deal with threats from drones, sticky bombs, and IEDs.

These security arrangements have been made in view of the possibility of an attack on the pilgrimage by terrorist organizations operating in Kashmir.

The pilgrimage of Baba Amarnath Ji will run from this 30th June to 11th August. In the years 2020 and 2021, it was closed for common devotees due to the situation arising out of Corona.

Therefore, this time around eight lakh devotees is expected to participate in the pilgrimage.
