This conspiracy of infiltration from Pakistan has been hatched on both the International Border and the Line of Control. Intelligence agencies have received concrete information about this enemy conspiracy.
There is an attempt to incite terror in Jammu as well. To thwart these plans, the security forces have devised a new strategy.
A meeting of the Corps Group of Army, Security Forces, and Intelligence Agencies was held on Friday at the Army’s 16 Corps Headquarters located in Nagrota, Jammu.
In this, along with security challenges, a joint strategy was made to deal with terrorist funding and conspiracies to mislead the youth through internet media.
Terror-related information was also shared in this meeting chaired by Corps Commander Lt Gen Manjinder Singh and Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police Dilbag Singh.
The meeting also discussed dealing with terror conspiracy in the Jammu division with the help of overground workers.
In the meeting, DG CID, IG BSF, IG of CRPF, Divisional Commissioner of Jammu, Director of IB, all formation commanders of Army’s 16 Corps, and officers of intelligence agencies submitted their reports.
It was decided in the meeting that the officers of the army, security forces, and intelligence agencies would hold regular meetings and discuss the security challenges.
At present, meetings are being held in the Jammu division to strengthen security and share intelligence. It is feared that along with infiltration, Pakistan can send weapons and narcotics by drones.
In such a situation, a meeting was held in the Tiger Division of Jammu this week under the chairmanship of Lieutenant General P Anantnarayan, GOC, and DGP JKP Dilbag Singh.
In this, a strategy was made to counter infiltration from across the international border, attempts to send narcotics as well as conspiracies to breach security with drones.
